Oh dear readers, I forgot to update you.  After I found out about my precancerous mole, I had a second appointment with my doctor.  She had to remove even more skin & send that to the lab.  It came back good - no precancer - so we got it all!  I was so relieved!

So in April I'm going to see a real dermatologist to get a full body checkout.

So dear readers - avoid tanning beds & put on the sunscreen.  It's really important :)

  1. Good news!!! :) Be careful this summer... :)

  2. Good new! Glad you are ok. I worry about that too. My sister lives next door and has her own tanning bed. Its a little tempting to have a tan and a dip in the hot tub. I guess I better start going straight to the hot tub! Glad you are a-ok! ;o) ~mary~

  3. That is wonderful news! That is so scary! Yes wear sunscreen! Tans are beautiful but not good for you at all! Hey, stop by and see my latest project and tell give me your opinion. I went to Ace Hardware last night. You are right, their paint selection is really good!

  4. Glad to know it all worked out! I work for a doctor so...I know all about the dangers. I have a friend who lost her dad to skin cancer. She gets a full body scan every few years. It is worth the humiliation and hassle. Be safe! Blessings to you! Here is my Colorado hug to you! Anne

  5. Annie, that is wonderful news!! It does get very scary! I have a mole on the side of my neck that I have kept my eyes on a bunch! You gave some real good advice about avoiding tanning beds and using sunscreen lotions!

    Have a great weekend!

  6. SUCH GREAT NEWS! And good advice too...

  7. Thanks everyone! Melanoma runs in my family so for my skin it's very important :)

Thank you so much for your kind words & support! I love hearing from you & read each and every comment you leave for me! ~Annie
