We are doing good. I have been released. Ollie is still in a special care nursery at Barnes Jewish South. We are praying for poop...yes I said poop. We want her to poop clear up her back so the nurses have to change out everything she's laying on.
Her bilirubin levels went up instead of down. We need them to go down before we can think about taking her home. We thought Monday was the day, but with rising levels - it may be Tuesday. A righteous poop would help us out.
So...pray for poop.
PS - poop.
I'm not even sure how I found your blog, but wanted to say that this baby is absolutely beautiful!!! Crossing my fingers for a huge poopy diaper:)
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure I've ever prayed for poop before, but I'll do so now.
ReplyDeleteShe's beautiful!
My little boy had to go right back in the hospital the day after I brought him home because his jaundice level was really high. I was so sad to see him with the eye patches and I.V. and the nurses pricking his foot over and over, so I feel ya on the praying for poop! I hope she gets released soon so you can enjoy your gorgeous little girl at home. :-)
