Today we are leaving the cardiac ICU for a regular room. We are still waiting, but I am in no hurry.
I love the team at the cardiac ICU. Our nurse sits at a desk right outside Ollie's room, there is a window so we can constantly see her. She only has Ollie and one other patient. It's SO nice! Anytime a machine beeps they are on it. The nurses here are superb!
We are going to 7West & our nurses there with have 3 or 4 patients, and we may have to share a room. So I don't know exactly what it will be like, but the good news is that it is a step closer to going home. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a private room, but we'll see what we get.
More to come as the day goes by.
Glad things are going well I am praying that the next move is home.
ReplyDeleteEach step is progress and so glad they are taking care of all of you! Ann {{Ollie}}
ReplyDeletePraise God that she is doing so well! I'm so happy for all of you!
ReplyDeleteYay! That's such great news! I'll be sending thoughts of a private room your way ;)
ReplyDeleteits interesting to read how different hospitals do things differently- we stayed in the CVICU the whole time. I will be crossing my fingers for a private room as well. And that you are able to head home soon too
ReplyDeleteI was praying for Ollie as I walk around the lake. Sometime the peacefulness of it all makes me want to shout to the Lord but than I would scare all the water fowl and make everyone unhappy! I wish you all love and healthy and more happiness than you can imagine. Anne
