I am SO excited to share that yesterday I officially quit my job.
I am now a house wife to him
and a stay at home Mom to them
This has ALWAYS been my dream since I was a little girl.
We never thought we could do it.
Now we realize that we can do it, and that it's worth it. A HUGE thank you & amount of love to Jade for wanting this for our family and working his butt off daily to make it happen. He is the best!
I will miss my co-workers that have become my friends over the past 5 years. I will miss my company because they were the best place to work for a family. Seriously, awesome company! I am thankful that they understood that home was the best place for me to be, and supported my decision as I was on extended maternity leave until now.
Ollie Faith Designs is also back in business so if you need a blanket or a piece of jewelry email me at housethatjadebuilt@gmail.com. I will also be doing some custom furniture painting, house decorating - pretty much anything I think I can handle along with 3 kids & Trudie so please e-mail me!
CONGRATS!!!! That's so awesome, Annie! I know how much you love the people at your job but feeling torn with wanting to be at home. I know that feeling! Congrats to you and Jade for making it work!
ReplyDeleteCongrats! I recently did the same and I couldn't be more happy
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome Annie, I'm so happy for you.
ReplyDeleteCongrats Annie. I'm so excited for you to be home with the kiddos. That Jade sure is a keeper isn't he.
ReplyDeleteThat is so awesome! Good for you guys in making sacrifices to make it work :)
ReplyDeleteCongratulations Annie! That's so wonderful that you're able to do this. I'll be ordering a new stamped, cluster necklace as soon as we know the gender of our little sprout!
ReplyDeleteHow great!!! Congratulations!! Love that you included the dog in your pics...LOL
ReplyDeleteGood for you and those babies!
ReplyDeleteOh Congratulations!!!!
ReplyDeleteHow exciting!! Good for you!
ReplyDeleteIf he wasn't working his butt off, Jade should have a blog of his own! What a guy! If more husbands & wives could figure out a way to make this work, I REALLY believe there would be a lot more well-adjusted children, calmer households, more effective classrooms, and very probably a healthier society.
ReplyDeleteThere. I feel MCUH better for having said that!
I mean MUCH.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great thing Annie-it was something I always wanted too and my husband has always supported that decision. You will never regret a moment of it! Okay, well there may be days you might be absolutely looney tunes, but that goes with the territory. Now you can be there for them through everything. So happy for you and three cheers for Jade! Ann {{Ollie}} P.S. Have a neice giving birth to a baby boy in Sept so I will be ordering one of those blankets at some point!!
ReplyDeleteGood for you!! Its one of those decisions you will never regret :)
ReplyDeleteThat is SOOOO awesome, Annie! So excited for you! I'm sure that you will be every bit as busy as you were when you worked outside the house. I know that I am constantly surprised at how BUSY I am pretty much all of the time, and frankly, I have no idea how I ever got anything done when I worked too!
ReplyDeleteYay!!! I am so happy for you! It is a great gig!
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you.For all of you.I have been blessed to have been home with all 6 for the last 24 years. Not a day goes by that I don't know how very lucky I am.Especially with Zoey's arrival and all the added stuff, far beyond that extra magical chromosome.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy every moment. As I know you will.
Congratulations Annie.
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome blessing to your family that you can now be a stay at home mom..
Erika
Thrilled for you guys!!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations!!! I just recently started following your blog (right before Ollie's surgery) . I have fallen in love with your family. I too am a SAHM and love it!
ReplyDeleteHi Annie. My name is Jill. I know of your family because my mom is in a prayer group with your mom. My husband and I have been praying for your sweet Ollie. Her card has been on our fridge. :) Your mom gave me a necklace that you made with Isaiah 40:31 on it. She had no idea...nor did you...that right after our home was destroyed by a tornado, God gave me that verse to cling to. Thank you! I wear it every day to remind me of God's faithfulness and the fact that He really does speak to His children. Congratulations on staying home. You'll never regret it! I'm a retired teacher (ha) and I've been home since our first of four was born almost 12 years ago.
ReplyDeleteGood for you! I have been a stay home mom for 13 years now and I can say I never regret my decision to be a Mom and Wife first. Have a wonderful summer with your beautiful family.
