Our Weekend Part 1

So have I been MIA in blog land?  Absolutely. 

Have I been rapping?  You can betcha I have been down like Snoop.

So what have I been doing? 

A LOT of family & partying & it was great! 

Saturday night we had an epic party, or that's at least what Jade & I tell ourselves!  We had about 50 people over - lots of family and some close friends.  Jade earned the title master smoker with his legendary pork loin skills.  We had way too much food, lots of laughs, and some pretty good country fireworks.  All in all we had a great time! 

Where was my camera - I have no idea!  So I have just a few snapshots of Jade's family that his Mom & sister took.  This is my two kids with their cousins on Jade's side.  Everett would not cooperate!  They are all very sweet kids & growing up so fast!

This is the entire family minus Jade's brother.  His sister is in the green - isn't she cute! 

Sunday night we headed to the Shelbyville fireworks where I again forgot my camera.  Luckily I had my cell phone with me for the shot of my kids before the fireworks.  They were thrilled & had a great time!

And no - Aubrie doesn't fall far from this tree.  A deep love of animals and glitter is straight from her mama's heart!

Pregnancy Oddities

Each of my pregnancies have been vastly different.  I'm still in my first trimester comparison.

With Aubrie I was nauseous daily around 10 (never got sick) and exhausted beyond belief.  I literally wanted to collapse into a coma at 6 PM daily.

With Everett I was just exhusated but never sick, definitely not as tired as I was with Aubrie though.

This time around I'm not sick or tired.  But...I rap & sing all day.  That's right - Hip Hop, Rap, Rock you name it - I'm singing it daily and some times it's just pure torture. 

Today it's "Fat bottom girls you make the rocking world go 'round" & "Forever Young" which Forever Young is about torture in itself.

I am convinced that Justin Timberlake is growing in my belly.

I hope it stops soon because I'm driving myself mad with my outrageous rhymes.

Oh - and Happy 4th of July!  My family is living it up big time & I'm in a lawn chair behind them rapping like Snoop.

Ev's Makeover

So not only did we make over some rooms at my house, but also my son.

Maggie gave him a new do.

That's right - he's rocking a short mohawk!

He's pretty cute isn't he?!  He looks so big - I can't believe my baby will be 3 in August - wow!

PS - one would think it was too early to be nesting.  Not so much!  This girl has cleaned out 5 closets & two drawers.  I threw out one junk bag & donated 6 garbage bags to our local Senior Citizens Thrift shop!  What's amazing is I'm pretty organized anyway, but I'm looking forward to conquering the entire house!  Watch out Jade - I have projects for you too!

FOR SALE!!

Our first project is officially ON THE MARKET!  I never dreamed I would stage a house for sale, but through Ethel Edith we did it!  The bathroom, bonus room, kitchen, living room, master bedroom, & outdoor spaces have all been staged & are ready to sell this place! 

I couldn't be more excited because they are an amazing family & this house is so cute!  They were truly a joy to work for!  I don't think it this baby will be on the market for long!!  So if you are looking for a family home locally it's a MUST see, or if you need a great vacation home by an amazing lake check it out!
