Ethel Edith Spring Show TOMORROW!!

Don't forget tomorrow is the big Ethel Edith spring show!

For all my local stalkers - Miss Ollie Faith is going to be working the show wheeling & dealing as well!  I plan to wear her around in her sling.  I'm guessing her hair is sure to seal the deal on many pieces of furniture!  Gotta train the kids young!

Come out and see us!!

Details are at the link above!!

Get The Scoop

For all my curious friends - our show was a huge success!  We had a great time and visited with some amazing people.  Even LeAnn from Vintage Sassy came to meet us - and ladies - she's FABULOUS in person!!  If you want to see some shots of our show click here.  I'll be posting more soon :)

Since it's Mother's Day I just want to thank my Mom.  Without her so much of what I have and who I am wouldn't be the same.  For her help yesterday - I can't thank her enough.  That lady is good!  She can stage and restage her butt off & it's always impressing, creative, and outside the box.  She wows me!

I also want to thank my mother in law Ruby.  She created and raised the perfect son that is now my husband.  I'm proud to be his wife & proud to call her my mother in law.

I am very blessed.  I got a wonderful hand stamped bracelet from Maggie from my kids today, orange roses from the hubs - gorgeous by the way, and some too cute for words homemade treasures from my Aubrie Grace.  She also told me they bought me a car - she doesn't understand that "Just Kidding" in that case is sad for her Mom.  I would like a new car!!

Oh and Mags - Happy 1st Mother's Day to you!  I'm proud of you sis - you're one heck of a Mama!

It's Finally the Day!!

I can't believe it!  I have been working with my sisters for months in preparation for our Ethel Edith show today!  I have planned, painted, dreamed big, and fretted over so many details!

It's finally here & every piece we created I am in love with and would put in my house in a heartbeat!  So please come down to my house at 10 AM.  Visit - shop - hang out - we're here until 3 and we'd love to see you!!  I also promise we really don't have freakishly long necks - but I love Abbie's unique folk art!

Oh and if you can't make it - pray that my community gets our love of color and falls in love with it themselves.  I know we are a bit unique in our style, but I think we are fun and new - I hope they love as much as we do!  As always - we'll share lots of pictures soon!

Eek I'm excited!

Work Day Update!

Thank you all for the well wishes & prayers.

This weekend has officially kicked my butt!  We mulched every bed & tree we have - which is A LOT!  Then I personally planted about 70 plants & helped Jade mulch those brand new beds with all the plants I worked on.  Then, throw in a little more work - we took everything off our patios & washed the siding & porches too!  Nothing like having a party at your house to get your booty in gear hey!  But it looks great & the hard work paid off big time!  I am loving what we have accomplished!

Then, I had an excellent work day with the sisters!  Everything for Ethel Edith ready to show!  I'm so excited!  Going through our items just makes it so much more real & it's only 6 days away!  I'm really glad I took the plunge last fall & decided to start up this side business.  It's been so much fun with my sisters & my house has greatly changed and improved over the last 6 months - a win win for us all!

So if you are in the central Illinois area - next Saturday, May 8th from 10-3.  Come visit me at my house & shop all our goods - which are a plenty :)

Email me for more information.
