Cutest Thing Ever...

Yes this post involves Ollie, but...

it also includes my Grandma Toots.  The inspiration behind Ethel Edith & our junking ways.

and Grandpa Howard.  How can you seriously not adore someone rocking a hat like that around town.  Seriously, he's cute.

They have been DYING to see Ollie since she was born, but Grandma had a cold.  They finally got to come & oh were they happy with her.

Note, Grandma made Grandpa take off his hat for more pictures.  Also, Grandma is wearing her favorite color pink.  Once at Cato, she actually said "Pink is my worst weakness."  I get it honest, as does my Mom.  Three generations of pink, animal print, and bling lovers combined.  A dangerous force we are.

Ollie loved them as they loved her.  She finally woke up to flirt for quite awhile.

This year I believe Grandma will be 87 and Grandpa 93.  They are fantastic aren't they!  Happily married for over 60 years (I'd tell you how many, but ugh I can't remember)!

  1. They are adorable!! This made me smile this morning. :-) Glad Ollie woke for the visit!

  2. Grandma is 87 and Grandpa is gonna be 92 in may. April 28th will be their 70th anniversary (and Maggie's 4th). They have 15 grandkids, 2 step-grandkids, 6 of those are married. Ollie was their 15th great grandchild and Maggie's baby will be their 16th. Crazy right.

  3. I mean seriously, I missed the o in that word.. :-)

  4. you are spot on Abbie! They are too cute. Makes me proud to be their daughter.

  5. Oh, Grandpa Howard! I wish you had kept that cool hat on! I can see how proud they are of Miss Ollie and I imagine she will take quite a shine to them as well. Ann {{Ollie}}

  6. Love it, Annie! I lost both my Grandmas about a year and a half ago, I miss them like CRAZY!! But I am so thankful they got to meet my girls:)

And honestly, I want to eat that sweet baby girl up....

  7. They are cute..., all three of them! Ollie is such a doll baby! I cant believe I forget how small V once was!

  8. That picture of your Grandpa and Ollie brought tears. It rivals the one of your Dad kissing Ollie in the bassinet at the hospital. How awesome is it that your grandparents are still here to love and hold and adore you and your family? :) I'd give anything for that!

  9. Lovely pics. Really like the one of Ollie flirting, old hands and a young life - so beautiful. As for the pink thing, your Grandma looks great in it (for the record, I am a dyed in the wool pink-hater, so this is really SOMETHING coming from me!) Yay for formidable females!

    God bless all of you.

  10. Ollie is absolutely precious. Congratulations!!! I know they are long over due I haven't been by in forever and I'm sorry for that. I'm happy to see you all home together! oxoxo

  11. So wonderfully blessed and adorable. Those pictures with Great Grandparents are such a treasure.

Thank you so much for your kind words & support! I love hearing from you & read each and every comment you leave for me! ~Annie
