We Were Love Bombed

Yesterday, the most amazing thing happened.  Jade, Aubrie, Everett, Ollie, and I were love bombed.  We were inundated with love, and prayers from an amazing group of people that we have never even met.  It's just unbelievable how we are all brothers and sisters through Christ.  In a time where we needed it most, God provided it us with over 200 messages of faith and hope.  I just sat at my desk dumbfounded as e-mail after e-mail came through.  Jade sat last night and read them all in awe as well.

I want to say thank you to anyone that has taken the time to acknowledge this in our lives.  The prayers you are sending up ARE working.  We feel positive Ollie will live a full and long life as a member of our family.  We appreciate you all more than you know.

We are excited about Ollie & continue to pray for a healthy heart - down syndrome or not.  God Bless & keep on praying!  The next appointment is Tuesday the 26th!

  1. Annie, I will keep Ollie, you, Jade, Aubrie, and Everett & family in my prayers. When I was pregnant for my youngest child, my dr. mentioned the same needle test as your dr. mentioned to you to have.. I declined, just as you did.. and for the same reasons. I told him that I'd take and love this beautiful baby that GOD created just for us, and if it happened to have down syndrome, or be mentally retarded, that it'd be okay, we'd still love it just the same. How one could not love them is beyond my understanding.

Our oldest son was born severly mentally retarded and we never, ever loved him any less than if he would have been born without being retarded.. He was our Special child sent down from GOD for us to nurture and to love.. and we did just that. I know deep down in my heart that Eddie Lee knew that we all loved him so very much..

Take care sweetie, and I will be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers..

    Blessings,
    ~Lynn

  2. Holding you in my heart for the 26th with the rest of the Love Bombers. If only a couple hundred hearts could combine to make just one extra healthy one - maybe they can! Love to all of you <3.

  3. A love bomb - How wonderful. The Hoffman clan has been praying for little Ollie's heart here in Indy too. Hugs and Kisses.

  4. Dear Annie and Jade, you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. What admirable attitudes you both have toward what is every pregnant womans' nightmare - a little part of me is thinking that if your baby is born with these issues, you two will handle beautifully whatever God is sending to you, and do it with strength and grace. Perhaps you are not feeling particularly strong, we usually dont in the middle of the situation, but seems to me you both have the faith and commitment to make the best of all of this. God Bless Margaret
