There are several things in this world that I love: glitter, rusty metal, old chippy paint, fitness, my husband - ha I put him at the end by mistake - he should be first!
But I also LOVE to talk & to HELP people.
If you have a question about anything on my blog - Down Syndrome, open heart surgery, nystagmus, glasses for toddlers, decorating, painting furniture, getting fit, changing your diet, or just want to say hello - email me! It will make my day - I promise!!

Hello
ReplyDeleteMy name is Amy I have been reading your blog for just a short time. My 'birth story's short version: we were unaware that our son had down syndrome. He came a month early and none of the doctors told us anything. We had a nurse come to our home for a week home visit and she asked if I received the results from our genetics test. I had no idea they did a test. The nurse had told me our results. My husband was at work and I was home alone! I was scared worried unsure what to do next. Payton is a healthy amazing the light of our life 16 month old! We too go to st Louis for check ups. Payton had ear tube surgery in January. I was so nervous!! Everyone kept reassuring us it was a 'routine' surgery. The surgery maybe lasted about 20 minutes. Everyone at the hospital was great!! Payton has been doing really well with the tubes. (That is why I decided to write you) I know just like all Moms you will worry until you have her back in your arms. Just know ours went well and I'm sure yours will too! I will keep your family in my thoughts and prayers! (Btw....this is my first time commenting on a blog so I hope I made sense!!)
God bless you all. Your story was inspirational. I wish you all the best.
